Congratulations to Our Incoming 7th Grade ASB Students for 2020-21!

The following list of students will be members of Rio Norte ASB for the 2020-2021 school year.  As I explained to you all at the online boot camp, this is a very difficult and competitive process.  We had to look at a number of different criteria, and make decisions based on them.  In the end, you are all exceptional kids. Whether or not you are on the ASB list, doesn't change that.  I wish I had space for every one of you, but unfortunately, I don't.  If your name is not on the list, please remember that ASB is just a class, and there are many ways for you to contribute your talents to our school in other areas outside of ASB.  We look forward to seeing you all in the Fall and wish everyone the best of luck in the coming school year!  Congratulations to the following students:

ASB 2nd Round Online Boot Camp!

The following students will move on to the next round of the ASB selection process. We would like to thank every one of the students who met with us online...it was a pleasure to meet you.  All students listed below must be available for the 2nd round "ASB Online Boot Camp" at 2:15 p.m. on Monday, May 18th.  Zoom meeting links will be sent to your email with the title "Rio Norte ASB".  If your name is on this list and you do not receive an email link, please check your junk mail, or contact Mr. Sheridan.

Obviously, this is a very competitive process.  If your name is not on the list, please know that we recognize that you are an amazing kid; and Rio Norte Jr. High needs students that possess your personality and talents in many different programs. Our hope is that you will find other electives and clubs that will allow you to show off those talents, get involved, and make a difference in our school. ASB Interviews for Incoming 7th Graders on Saturday, May 9!

Online ASB interviews for incoming 7th graders are scheduled for Saturday, May 9th.
Interviews are mandatory to be considered for Rio Norte ASB.
The following times represent your login times and interview "window" for online interviews on Zoom.  We will bring applicants in from the online waiting room for individual meetings.

This Friday, 5/8, please check the email you provided in your ASB application for your Zoom invitation and link - it will be titled, "Rio Norte ASB Incoming 7th Interview".  If your name is on this page, but you do not receive an email on Friday, please check your junk mail and if you still do not find the link, please email Mr. Sheridan.  During your interview it is possible you will be waiting the entire window, or for only part of the window.
